NBConsult is excited to announce that they have obtained their Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop advanced specialization.  

NBConsult, a Microsoft Gold partner since 2013, was recognised as a global finalist at the 2019 ‘Microsoft Partner of the Year’ Awards in the ‘Intelligent Communications’ category. They also won the 2020 Microsoft Hong Kong Top MSP Partner award. Over months of rigorous hard work, from proof of concepts of WVD (now called Azure Virtual Desktop), deployments, and testing to sign-off and handover of pristine environments. A track record was established, and an intensive several hour-long external audit was conducted where NBConsult proved their worth in the race to be one of a handful of South African-based companies to achieve this accolade.

Combined with NBConsult’s industry-proven managed services support, their WVD solution encompasses both Microsoft native as well as Standard Operating Environments (SOE) applications. 

NBConsult’s WVD has been proven to help clients plan and execute the adoption of WVD into their current IT environment or to migrate from their existing on-premise VDI infrastructure to Microsoft WVD. 

NBConsult, through the technology of Azure Lighthouse and delegated resource management, displayed full capabilities to provision Azure Vnets, Azure Storage accounts, Log analytic workspaces, WVD Tenants (Fall release and Spring releases), image templates, host pools, session hosts and identity management to the subscription or resource group designated in the client’s Azure tenant.
